The poem “Now The Leaves Are Falling Fast’ has been composed by W.H Auden who is the famous poet of England. In this poem the poet has described the painful stage of oldhood. He says that in the old stage all creatures along with trees become helpless and nobody comes to help them but they show false sympathy for anyone or anything. He wants to compare the painful stage of a man to a tree. Just as a tree becomes helpless and all leaves falldown in the pitiable stage in the sameway a man starts suffering from many problems because his body becomes inactive and he becomes unable to do anything. He says that even the nightingale becomes dump in its old stage and it becomes valueless. when the old man starts suffering, no men come to help him but they show false attitude of love and grey hair start falling down and it indicates his last journey of life. this is a very interesting poem.
